The seniors’ last ever high school football game against the Oak Harbor Rockets didn’t go as expected and ended up in a devastating loss, 52-7. It was a match up of a (10-0), Oak Harbor, vs a (5-5), Fredericktown Freddies.
The first drive of the game went as expected, with a hard drive down the field for the Freddies, with Oak Harbor stopping them on a 4th down attempt conversion. Then Oak Harbor’s running back got the ball down to the five yard line in just one play. Pushing the ball in for a touchdown on the next, this made the score a quick 7-0 for the Rockets.
Freddies answered right back with a touchdown of their own with a three play drive moving the score, 7-7. After tying the game up, the Rockets defense stood determined to not let up another score, dropping the Freddies out of the playoffs 52-7.
