102 lives were saved on November 6 when 34 donors gave 34 units of blood to the Red Cross during the FHS Blood Drive. As the FHS Blood Drive coordinator, National Honor Society (NHS) Vice President Bella Kraus was a key factor in making it happen along with the help of junior Blood Drive Coordinator-in-training Drew Dumbaugh (also in the NHS).
A texting party gathered donors to help fill the available slots. In the texting party were NHS members Bella Kraus, Cassie Fisher, Drew Dumbaugh, Pink Payne, and Kara Fields.
Working the table during the Blood Drive were NHS members Bella Kraus, AJ Broerman, Olivia Harris, Shae Amstutz, Cassie Fisher, Braelyn O’Neil, Kara Fields, John Divelbiss, Antonio Rojas, Pink Payne, and Drew Dumbaugh. Student Sam Baker also went out of the way to help.
