Mr. Miller’s favorite memory is when a former student from the Mohican Youth Academy called back to the school and told him that his student was able to earn his GED, and if it wasn’t for Mr. Miller’s help and the help of the other teachers, the student would not have passed.
If teaching did not work out, Miller would’ve been an Athletic Trainer. He enjoyed working with athletes, especially evaluating injuries. He enjoyed his athletic training class where they learned how to tape different types of injuries.
Mr. Miller wants teachers to know that there will always be hard days, but continue to work hard to make a difference in the lives of students, because one never knows when that might change a young person’s life.
