Lady Freddies launched their first meet of the season on Dec. 8th at Highland for the Lady Scot Invitational. There were 17 teams at the invitational.
Fredericktown has three high school wrestlers: Truth Yarman, who is a second year wrestler, and Dacotah Fuller and Anna Miller who are first year wrestlers.
We also have two middle school girls: Amara Whitt and Izzy Wells who are both 7th graders. The middle school girls tied for 13th place out of 17 teams.
Amara Whitt placed 4th in her weight class. She earned 11 points over all her matches. In Round 3 Whitt won against Alex Deutsch from Highland MS. In Round 4 she pinned Vanessa Gibson from Freemont Ross.
Izzy Wells placed 5th in her weight class with 7 points overall.
