The Fredericktown Freddies traveled over to Centerburg, hoping to get revenge after losing 9-1 two days prior. Centerburg had only one conference loss before coming into this game being tied at the top of the conference with Cardington-Lincoln.
Starting at pitcher for the Freddies was #9, Senior-Kaine Sheriff. Kaine pitched 5 Innings, holding the Trojans to only 3 runs.
On the offensive side, Fredericktown was slow to get their bats rolling in the first two Innings, then batted in 1 run in the 3rd, and another pair of runs in the 4th.
With the game tied in the 6th Inning 3-3, Brode Davis came into relive for the Freddies, calculating 1 strikeout in the 6th with 3 batters up, 3 batters down.
In the top of the 7th, Brode started off the Freddies with a base hit. Then Vince Lavin put down a Sac-Bunt to move the runner over, but ended up taking the lead while Brode stole 3 bases off Centerburgs Errors to collect the lead 4-3.
In the bottom of the 7th, Centerburg sent up 3 different batters to the plate, just for Davis to strike all three batters out for the win over their high school rivals.
