The Cross Country Freddies raced at the Highland Flying Scots Invitational last weekend. The girls took first place of seven teams, while the boys took fourth of ten.
The girls won the invitational with an amazing team score of 48, followed by Marion Highland with a score of 65. The top seven Lady Freddies, all winning medals, were Peyton Blakesley (4th; 20:58), Gwen Lavin (9th; 21:38), Elizabeth Swartzentruber (12th; 21:52), Angelina Overholt (15th; 22:46), Sophia Overholt (16th; 22:59), Ella Flynn (18th; 23:03), and Madi Shade (19th; 23:05).
