The Freddies lost a hard-fought game 41-7 against the Mt. Gilead Indians.
Both teams were 4-0 coming into Week 5 Mt. Gilead came off a win against Danville while the Freddies had just dominated Cardington 21-0.
Fredericktown against Mount Gilead was looked at as the Game of the Week.
Mount Gilead dominated the game, Fredericktown’s first drive ended with an interception, as they only put up 7 points while in their 4 last games they scored 88 points.
Fredericktown’s one and only touchdown was a deep ball from Senior quarterback Blake Sipes to Senior Gavin Toombs. At this point in the game, it was tied 7-7 after Sophomore kicker Isaiah Brake kicked the PAT.
