In the past 40 or so years, Cally Carpenter is the fifth to score 1000 points in her high school basketball career.
When being asked how it feels to hit 1000 points, Carpenter said, “I feel honored and grateful for so many people supporting me along the way.”
Carpenter has been playing basketball since kindergarten, so it is no surprise seeing her achieve so many things. She is looking forward to having a eventful senior year after being named 1st Team All-KMAC, 1st Team All District and All-Ohio Honorable Mention for 2 years in a row.
To prepare for games, Carpenter always eats Nerds Gummy Clusters for good luck.
Carpenter also participates in volleyball and track. She was a star volleyball player, achieving 1st Team All-League Honors.
As of now, Carpenter is undecided with where she wants to go to college and what she plans to major in.
Carpenter and her team started off this season on fire by going 4-1.
