In Art Foundations the students are completing a 100 color challenge using acrylic paint to learn how to mix colors and create new ones . This is in preparation for their mid-term which will be completing a color wheel.
First, the students drew out a 100 space grid with 100 squares. Once the grid is complete, the students fill every box with the different colors they mixed, they can arrange them in a gradient order or place the colors anywhere they would like.
On one of the days during this project, Mrs. Rogers wore one of her green dresses and the students competed for a prize to see who could mix up a color to match her dress the best . The winners are listed below.
