The Freddies hosted the Indians for their second game of the season with the previous game being a score of 13-4 – Freddies.
Starting on the mound for the Freddies at Pitcher was Brayden Clevenger, going up against the opposing teams pitcher Gage Baker.
The Freddies had a slow start to the game, not getting their bats out early and falling behind 5-2 in the third inning.
In the 4th inning, light struck when Vince Lavin doubled with zero outs to get the Freddies rolling, scoring 3 more runs in the 4th to tie the game up.
When the 5th inning came for Fredericktown, they scored another pair of runs to put them out in front, and extended the lead again in the 6th with 2 more runs batted in.
Now all the Freddies had to do was shut out the Indians in the top of the seventh to secure another conference victory for their team.
Nick Lafevre got the win on the mound getting 3 out of the 5 batters out, to secure the win with a final score of 9-5.
