Each 3rd grade class applied their creativity and problem solving skills into their class parks. The first step was to choose their groups and work on a worksheet coming up with ideas of the name of the park, what they wanted it to have in it, and why. Each group had to decide on one thing they wanted to put in their class park out of what each student chose. These consisted of bumper cars, monkey bars, tire swings, food stands, sand boxes, a unicorn slide, and many more! They then sketched how they wanted it to look.
The next step was to build. Using moss, cardboard, sand, popsicle sticks, fake grass, paper, foam, pipe cleaners, and zip ties. The groups built the feature that they wanted into the park.
