Recently, The National Honor Society held their annual induction ceremony known as Tapping.
The ceremony welcomes applicants who meet the four pillars of NHS, which are Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
Tapping usually happens in the fall, but there was an extra induction this school year so from now on it can take place in the spring. This helps NHS to have more members over the summer after the senior’s graduate.
This year, induction brought in 7 sophomores and 2 juniors.
The NHS welcomes Aubrey Louthan, Isabel Louthan, Maddi Bartlett, Elisha McGuckin, Anna Miller, Bella Ritchie, Neveah Serio, Madi Shade, Olivia Workman.
The actual Induction Ceremony and the NHS Banquet is Sunday, April 27th.
