Fredericktown hosted the Clear Fork Colts for a regular season game. This game was very windy and rainy during the 4 Innings played, but Refs called it due to the slipping on the pitching mound.
Fredericktown started off the game with Jayce Beeman on the mound. He threw a shut out in the first, leaving a zero up on the scoreboard for them. On the offensive side, Kaiden Gibbson started off the game with a single, then a pop out from the Freddies, but Kaine Sheriff got up to bat, and smoked a two-run homer over the left field fence to take the lead, 2-0.
In the second Inning, Fredericktown stood Clear Fork to another zero up on their score. Fredericktown then got another run in to make the score 3-0. In the third Inning, Clear fork still went scoreless, as Fredericktown put another p[air of runs on the board to take the lead by 5.
When the top of the 4th came, Colts finally came alive scoring two runs and having a baserunner on third until the rain started hitting hard, and the mound was destroyed, pitchers were slipping, and the umpires called the game with a score settling at 5-2, and a questionable resume someday next week.
