Choir Takes 1st at Kings Island

This year, the choirs competed in the annual music in the parks composition.

The high school choir sang The Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre and We Rise Again by Leon Dubinsky.

The choir ended up getting first in their class and winning first overall out of 10 other high schools. This was a huge accomplishment, considering the last time the choir won overall was in 2017.

Darren Hartley is a junior who participates in cross country, track, choir, and the drama club. He is also in Fredericktown’s National Honor Society. Darren wants a job that demonstrates his creativity, but as of now is undecided.
